29. PROSINCA – Sveti TOMA BECKET, biskup i mucenik (1118.-1170.) Toma Becket kojega se danas spominjemo, prije nego je postao nadbiskup i primas Engleske, bijase kancelar engleskog kralja Henrika II., poslusan dvorjanin, prijatelj raskosi i pristasa kraljevskog apsolutizma. Rodio se 1118.g. u Londonu kao sin trgovca. Nakon odlicne izobrazbe i studija u Parizu, Bologni i u Auxerreu postao je arhidjakonom Canterburya. U starosti od 37 godina, kralj Henrik II., imenovao ga je kancelarom i osobnim savjetnikom. Izmedju kralja i Tome nastalo je pravo prijateljstvo. Becket je podupirao vladara u svim pothvatima i imao je znatan utjecaj na njegove politicke odluke. Kralj Henrik II., progurao je imenovanje kancelara Tome za nadbiskupa Centerburya. Ocekivao je da ce tako imati jaci utjecaj u crkvenim poslovima. Toma Becket je to i naslucivao, pa se nije narocito obradovao tom imenovanju.Postavsi nadbiskupom god. 1162., pretvorio se u strogog asketu i vatrenog borca za prava Crkve protiv kraljevih presizanja. Jedna od glavnih znacajki Tomina karaktera bijase, veoma razvijen osjecaj duznosti. Stoga je smatrao da kao primas Engleske ima zastupati interese Crkve, a ne vise interese kralja, kao sto je cinio dok je bio njegov kancelar. Na neki nacin je bio prorekao svoju buducnost, kada je svome dotadasnjem prijatelju Henriku II., rekao: “Postavsi nadbiskup Canterbury-ja, izgubit cu prijateljstvo Vaseg velicanstva.” Ubrzo je postalo i jasno zasto. Vrsio je tu duznost svega nekoliko godina, kada se morao ostro suprostaviti kralju, koji je u sebi koncentrirao svu moc, te si cak pridrzao i onu….utjecati na savjest svojih podanika. Tominom suprostavljanju kralj nije mogao oprostiti, te je poceo gajiti prema njemu nepomirljivu mrznju. Kralj Henrik II., osudi Tomu kao veleizdajnika i svrgne ga s nadbiskupske stolice. Toma pobjegne u Francusku Papi Aleksandru III. Nakon 6 godina izgnanstva Toma se kao papin delegat vrati u Englesku, a kralj se bojao izopacenja, pa mu ne ucini nikakva zla. A i sam je Papa savjetovao Tomu da se formalno izmiri s bivsim prijateljem. No, nije imao nikakvih iluzija, znajuci kako ce se Henrik II., prije ili kasnije, vratiti na staro. Stovise, okupljene je vjernike pozdravio rijecima: “Vratio sam se kako bih mogao umrijeti tu uz vas”. U iducih nekoliko dana raspustio je sve biskupe, koji su bili sklopili savez s kraljem i javno prozvao sve njegove despotske postupke. Kralj je razbjesnjen, neoprezno ovako razmisljao na glas: “Ma, tko li ce me osloboditi od toga urotnickoga svecenika?” “Netko”, kome se nadbiskup vec bio zamjerio, vec je iduceg dana poslao cetvoricu ljudi da ga ubiju. Iako su Tomu obavjestili o uroti, nije se sklonio od pogibelji, vec je rekao: “Radi straha od smrti ne smijemo iz vida izgubiti pravdu.” I docekao je svoje ubojice pred oltarom katedrale, odjeven u svecano sveto ruho. Prepustio se njihovim udarcima bez otpora. Kada je pod njima pao na tlo, prosaputao je: “Prihvacam smrt u cast Imena Isusova i Crkve.” Bilo je to 29. prosinca 1170.god. Njegova je junacka smrt okrunila zivot teskih borbi, kako bi pred engleskim vladarem Henrikom II., posvjedocio svoju vjernost Kristu i Rimokatolickoj Crkvi. Narod je Tomu odmah nakon smrti poceo castiti kao sveca, a papa Aleksandar III., sluzbeno ga kanonizira vec 1173.godine. Poslusati vlastitu savjest, ili pak ono sto nam namecu sile moci, dvojba je stara koliko i sam svijet. Sveti Toma Becket razrijesio ju je nadasve izvanredno i junacki. Da bi ublazio bijes naroda, sam kralj je hodocastio na grob Tome Becketa i ondje se podvrgnuo kazni javnog bicevanja god. 1174., a to je bila zadovoljstina za sva zla koja je ucinio protiv Crkve i Tome. Zdravlje & ljepota OPASNI LIJEKOVI: Oni imaju zabrinjavajuće nuspojave od kojih zaziru i liječnici 25. studenoga 2018. alternativa za vas, opasni lijekovi Facebook Twitter Linkedin tablete Unatoč golemom napretku medicine, rak, tumori, depresija, autoimune bolesti… i lijekovi uzimaju sve veći broj ljudskih života. I dok mnogi oboljeli spas od bolesti traže u lijekovima, kada oni postignu kontraučinak i nastupe nuspojave, liječnici sliježu ramenima, a farmaceutska industrija samo zadovoljno trlja ruke. Da su lijekovi štetni, znaju i sami liječnici jer mnoge od njih ni sami ne bi uzimali. No i dalje ih propisuju. Lijekovi poput statina, Prozaca, kortikosteroida, varfarina… mogu imati opasne nuspojave. Tu su i štetna cjepiva, koja sadrže toksine i teške metale, a kojih je, nažalost, sve veći broj, te antibiotici, „zahvaljujući“ kojima se danas sve češće suočavamo i sa superbakterijama. I dok neki lijekovi uzrokuju mučninu i glavobolju, drugi imaju i puno opasnije posljedice, poput pretjeranog krvarenja, oštećenja jetre, srca i mozga, a dugotrajnom upotrebom mogu dovesti i do srčanog i moždanog udara te smrtnog ishoda. Dodatnu opasnost predstavlja i uzimanje lijekova na svoju ruku, kombiniranje više različitih lijekova (o čijim interakcijama znamo malo ili ne znamo ništa), te uzimanje medikamenata zajedno s alkoholom, drogama i sl. Velik broj ljudi sve češće poseže za analgeticima, odnosno lijekovima protiv bolova, koji dugoročno imaju jako štetne posljedice. Od takvih lijekova mnogi i umiru, a među njima su i brojne slavne osobe, poput Princea i Elvisa Presleya, piše Alternativa za Vas. tablete, tabletomanija Opasni lijekovi Zašto mnogi liječnici rutinski propisuju medikamente za koje znaju da ne djeluju? Također, zapitajmo se zašto liječnici propisuju nove lijekove kada, prema studijama, čak 85% njih ima vrlo male ili nikakve pozitivne učinke na oboljele osobe? I ne samo da nisu učinkoviti, nego mogu biti i opasni i štetni. Neki od lijekova koji se propisuju, a koji mogu biti opasni za ljudsko zdravlje su: antidepresivi, statini (za kolesterol), metformin (za dijabetes), antipsihotici, aspirin, lijekovi za krvni tlak, ibuprofen (za bolove), sotalol (za aritmiju srca), Nexium i Prilosec (za žgaravicu i refluks), Advair (za astmu), pilule za spavanje, Visine Original (kapi za oči), opioidni lijekovi, viagra (za potenciju), prednizon i kortizon (kortikosteroidi). Lijekovi koje mnogi liječnici ne bi uzimali U nastavku doznajte koji su to štetni lijekovi koje ni sami liječnici ne bi uzimali te koje su njihove nuspojave. 1. Statini: Ovi lijekovi za kolesterol imaju teške nuspojave. Mogu dovesti do velikih bolova u mišićima, slabosti, depresije, pojačanog ispadanja kose i impotencije, a što je najvažnije, ne pružaju zaštitu od tzv. lošeg kolesterola niti čuvaju zdravlje srca. Umjesto da uzimate ove medikamente, vježbajte, budite aktivni i zdravije se hranite. Osim toga, visoke razine kolesterola, pokazalo se, čak produljuju vaš životni vijek, stoga zašto biste ih snižavali štetnim i opasnim statinima? 2. Ibuprofen: Kad je riječ, primjerice, o reumatskim oboljenjima, mnogi liječnici sami ne bi uzimali ibuprofen na dnevnoj bazi. Ibuprofen povećava rizik od srčanog udara za 11 posto, a voltaren za čak 23 posto. Ibuprofen usto ima brojne nuspojave, poput čira na želucu, povišenog krvnog tlaka, vrtoglavice, sindroma iritabilnog crijeva i sl. Umjesto ibuprofena i drugih štetnih antireumatskih lijekova, birajte protuupalnu hranu, đumbir i kurkumu (u svježem ili suhom obliku), kupke s gorkom soli te umjereno izlaganje suncu radi dobivanja vitamina D. 3. Pilule za spavanje: Svi oni koji redovito uzimaju pilule za spavanje znaju koliko se od njih loše osjećaju, odnosno da su sutradan omamljeni i zbunjeni, a primjećuju i da im je pamćenje sve slabije. Zabluda u koju mnogi vjeruju jest ta da tablete za spavanje mogu pružiti duboki i kvalitetni san. To ni u kom slučaju nije točno, upravo suprotno. Naime, nakon dugotrajnog uzimanja ovih lijekova vaš san postaje sve lošiji te se nesanica pogoršava. No mnogi i unatoč tome nastavljaju uzimati ove pilule jer postaju ovisni o njima. 4. Lijekovi za prostatu + test PSA: Neki liječnici koji su upućeni u stanje poznato kao benigno povećanje prostate sami ne bi uzimali lijekove za prostatu, a čak ne bi pristali ni na test poznat kao PSA. Riječ je o krvnom testu koji otkriva razine prostata specifičnog antigena. Postoji mišljenje da tumor potiče organizam na stvaranje više PSA, no pokazalo se da to nije uvijek tako. Neki muškarci koji imaju rak prostate nemaju povišeni PSA, dok, s druge strane, ima i onih kojima su povišene razine PSA, a ne boluju od raka prostate. Ovaj test, dakle, ne može utvrditi radi li se doista o opasnom raku prostate ili njezinu benignom povećanju. Kod mnogih muškaraca koji imaju benigno povećanje prostate to se stanje toliko sporo razvija da nakon više godina zapravo umru od nečeg drugog, a ne od samog raka prostate. Također, neki od lijekova za prostatu imaju zaista neugodne nuspojave, poput erektilne disfunkcije te čak povećavaju rizik od vrlo agresivnog oblika raka prostate. lijekovi, tablete, pilule 5. Antidepresivi: Iako je poznato da antidepresivi nemaju ništa bolji učinak od običnog placeba, oni su najčešće propisivani lijekovi danas. Osim što stvaraju ovisnost, oni „otupljuju“ čovjeka te ga sprečavaju da se poveže s vlastitim emocijama. Antidepresivi također povećavaju rizik od ubojstva i samoubojstva. Naime, neke osobe koje su uzimale Prozac u vrlo kratkom roku potpuno su izgubile kontrolu nad sobom te su počinile zločine (iako nikad dotad nisu bile agresivne). Jeste li znali da je većina studenata koji su sudjelovali u teškim pucnjavama i ranjavanjima u američkim školama bila na lijekovima kao što su Prozac, Zoloft i Ritalin? 6. Prednizon i kortizon (kortikosteroidi): Ovi su lijekovi osobito problematični i opasni ako ih dugo koristite. Nijedan ih liječnik ne bi uzimao dulje od dva tjedna. Neke od njihovih nuspojava su visoki krvni tlak, niski kalij, slabost mišića, osteoporoza, frakture i lomovi kostiju te unutarnje krvarenje. 7. Metotreksat (kemoterapeutik): Teško je reći da je ovo „terapeutik“ jer je riječ o tvari koja podjednako uništava i tumorske i zdrave stanice vašeg organizma. Metotreksat se također koristi zajedno s prednizonom u liječenju reumatskih oboljenja, iako je riječ o opasnoj kombinaciji. Neke od nuspojava ovog „lijeka“ su trovanje jetre i bubrega, depresija koštane srži, kongenitalne anomalije, znatno slabljenje imunosnog sustava te unutarnje krvarenje. 8. Varfarin: Riječ je o lijeku za razrjeđivanje krvi koji se propisuje protiv srčanog i moždanog udara. No nuspojave ovog lijeka (koji je zapravo otrov za štakore!) jako su ozbiljne. Naime, zabilježeno je više slučajeva u kojima su ljudi koji su uzimali ovaj lijek nasmrt iskrvarili nakon što su se porezali ili ozlijedili. Ovaj „lijek“ zapravo slabi krvne žile i stanice. Što vi birate: nuspojave lijekova ili promjenu životnog stila i prehrane? Kad je riječ o vašem zdravlju, zaštitite sami sebe jer nitko drugi to neće učiniti za vas. Ako vam liječnik propiše neki lijek, raspitajte se o lijeku i doznajte koje su njegove moguće nuspojave. Nakon toga odlučite je li za vas bolje uzimati lijekove koji dolaze u paketu s brojnim nuspojavama ili unaprijediti zdravlje promjenom životnog stila. Razgovarajte s liječnikom i o nekim drugim (prirodnim) mogućnostima liječenja. Imate pravo reći „ne“ kad su u pitanju farmaceutski lijekovi jer radi se o vašem zdravlju, o vašem životu. We are also invited to visit Jesus in adoration. It takes great faith to believe in the Real Presence. MOLITVOM SPASIMO SVOJU HRVATSKU Piše: Vlč. Dražen Radigović Može li molitva biti toliko jaka da izvede čitavu jednu zemlju iz krize i dubokih problema? Može! I još puno jača! Svjedoci smo kroz kakvu duboku krizu prolazi naša Hrvatska: političku, gospodarsku, moralnu, društvenu, duhovnu. Mislili smo da će poslije osamostaljenja sve ići lakše – kad postanemo svoji na svome, gospodari u svojoj zemlji. A evo, nije tako. Poslije jedinstva koje smo doživjeli u Domovinskom ratu, Hrvati su ponovno razjedinjeni i podijeljeni i to najviše politički. A gdje su ljudi razjedinjeni, neprijatelj lako pobjeđuje, a narod propada, biva porobljen. Ne bismo voljeli da nam se povijest ponovi, nakon toliko truda, muke i krvi prolivene za slobodu naše zemlje. Često govorim da se ne borimo protiv ljudi, protiv „krvi i mesa“, kako kaže sv. Pavao u poslanici Efežanima u 6. poglavlju nego protiv zlih duhova koji koriste slabe ljude da nas preko njih napadaju i ranjavaju. A protiv đavla i zlih duhova možemo se boriti samo na jedan jedini način: molitvom! U Domovinskom ratu jedan je neprijatelj pobijeđen: đavao koji nas je želio preko Srba i JNA pretvoriti u svoje podložnike. Oružje kojim smo pobijedili – jest molitva. Sad nam predstoji drugi rat, mislim, još gori nego prvi: jer isti đavao dolazi u drugom pakovanju, puno lukavije i podmuklije: da nas zarobi iznutra! To radi tako da pokušava destabilizirati i demoralizirati našu državu – i to kroz bezbožne zakone, kriminal, prodaju hrvatske zemlje i hrvatskih poduzeća, medije koji prave smutnje, političke spletke, korumpirano sudstvo, mafiju, nemoral, te podložnost – velikim evropskim državama pod svaku cijenu. Sve je to način na koji nas đavao želi porobiti. Zato je potrebno da podignemo čitav narod na molitvu. Vjerujem da nas samo po molitvi Bog može spasiti i sačuvati. Zapitajmo se koliko smo puta kritizirali našu vlast? A koliko smo za njih molili? Umjesto da kritiziramo one koji su na vlasti, radije za njih molimo! Kritikama nećemo ništa postići ni promijeniti, molitvama hoćemo! Stoga je molitva puno bolje rješenje! Molitvom se zadobiva pobjeda, događa promjena, mijenja povijest Zašto je važno boriti se molitvom? Jer jedino tako možemo zadobiti pobjedu u ovom duhovnom ratu. Ali i zato što druga oružja od neprijatelja stvaraju leševe. Jedino to oružje – molitva – može pretvoriti neprijatelje u prijatelje. Neki misle da je molitva uzaludan posao. No, ona to nije: jer oslobađa Božju svemoguću snagu u naš život. Tako, one poslove i probleme koje ne možemo riješiti u svojoj ograničenoj, ljudskoj snazi, možemo riješiti molitvom! Zato je važno shvatiti važnost molitve. I potrebno je početi vjerovati u snagu molitve! Zaista, iskustvo pokazuje da se molitvom može promijeniti – ne samo sudbina jednog života ili čitave obitelji, nego i povijest jednog mjesta, pa čak i čitavog naroda. Zato je molitva tako važna: jer je jaka. Ona ima gotovo, rekli bismo, svemoguću snagu. Prof. T. Ivančić lijepo je rekao da je molitva jaka kao i Bog sam. Netko će možda upitati: „Ako molitva može spasiti našu zemlju i svijet, zašto onda to dosad nisu učinile molitve vjernika? Zato što njihove misli bijahu jarak kad nam je trebala bujica. Svijet je ovoga trenutka rezultat sveukupnih misaonih i duhovnih snaga koje se bore za prevlast. Na žalost, dosad je bilo manje ljudi koji su s Bogom radili i planirali od onih koji su djelovali suprotno Božjoj volji. Molilo ih je stotine kad smo trebali stotine tisuća! Molilo se po nekoliko minuta u tjednu kad je trebalo moliti čitav tjedan, cijelu godinu „bez prestanka“ (1 Sol 5,17). Molitvom možemo više učiniti za domovinu i svijet nego kad bismo se uputili u Banske dvore, na Pantovčak, Bijelu kuću, London ili Kremlj u Moskvi, da tim ljudima ondje kažemo što treba da rade – neusporedivo više! Kad bi se oni i odazvali našim prijedlozima, vjerojatno bismo više ili manje bili u krivu. Ali ono što će njima Bog reći kad mu se odazovu, to mora biti ono pravo. Mnogo je bolje da se vođe našega naroda i svjetske vođe odazovu Bogu nego nama. Zato je molitva važna! Kad Bog želi učiniti velika obraćenja i donijeti velike promjene u neke župe, gradove ili zemlje, kad želi izvesti probuđenja i činiti čudesa, prvo će podići molitelje. Ništa se ne događa bez molitve. Tamo gdje nema molitve – nema Božje snage, nema nadnaravnog Božjeg djelovanja. Primjeri naših dana: Čazma Na primjeru Čazme gdje sam od 1999. do 2002. godine bio župnik, želim vam pokazati kako molitva snažno djeluje i doista mijenja – ne samo živote pojedinaca, brakove i obitelji, donosi čudesa, ozdravljenja i obraćenja, nego i mijenja čitavo mjesto. U bivšoj Jugoslaviji Čazma je bila komunističko mjesto. Zvali su je „mala Moskva“. Ni poslije osamostaljenja mlade hrvatske države nije bilo bolje. Kad sam 1999. godine došao u Čazmu za župnika, Čazma je i materijalno i duhovno stajala jako, jako loše. Znao sam da samo molitvom možemo promijeniti duhovnu klimu i pokrenuti Božju ruku da donese promjenu u naš mali gradić. Nakon nekog vremena i poslije dvije duhovne obnove podigli smo ljude na molitvu kroz kućne molitvene grupe. U jednom trenutku, u 2000. godini bilo je 20 kućnih molitvenih grupa, u koje je bilo uključeno oko 200 ljudi! Zamislite tu duhovnu snagu – od 200 molitelja! To je moralo dobrano prodrmati duhovne prostore nad tim gradom. Naravno, plodovi nisu izostali. Svaki dan ljudi su se obraćali, počeli dolaziti u crkvu, nevjenčani parovi bi se vjenčali, obitelji obnavljale, ljudi ozdravljali. Tako, u toj župi, gdje je na početku bilo svega stotinjak ljudi na nedjeljnoj sv. misi, počelo je redovito dolaziti preko 400 ljudi! I ne samo to. Tamo su 2000. godine počeli karizmatski susreti koji su vrlo brzo postali tako brojni da je crkva postala premalena da primi sve te ljude koji su dolazili – jer je dolazilo preko 3000 ljudi. Uistinu, ta „zemlja“ koja je nekad sama bila žedna, kako slikovito kaže prorok Izaija u 35. poglavlju svoje knjige, postala je izvor vode, tj. izvor mnogih milosti za tisuće ljudi koji su tu dolazili i našli vjeru, utjehu, snagu, susreli Boga, doživjeli spas, ozdravljenje i rješenje ne samo obiteljskih nego i drugih problema. Treba spomenuti: s duhovnom obnovom redovito ide i materijalna. Počelo se graditi i obnavljati na sve strane. Danas se Čazma gotovo ne može prepoznati u usporedbi s onom iz 1999. godine, kad je sve započelo. Kako i kada je počelo? Onda, kad je narod počeo moliti. Primjer p. Rufusa Nikad neću zaboraviti svjedočanstvo patra Rufusa koji je na Madagaskaru, u jednoj biskupiji, zajedno s biskupom prošao kroz čitavu biskupiju s ciljem da u svim župama podignu molitvene timove koji će moliti za obnovu njihove biskupije i čitave zemlje. Tada je u toj zemlji vladao veliki kriminal, prostitucija i problem s drogom. Kroz 10 godina država je izdvajala znatna sredstva za suzbijanje kriminala, droge i prostitucije, ali – ništa! Nije bilo rezultata! Ne samo da se postotak nije smanjio, nego za 2, 3 posto još i povećao. Zato su p. Rufus i biskup u svim župama odlučili podići ljude na molitvu – kroz molitvene grupe i obiteljsku molitvu. Rezultat? Statistike su pokazale da se poslije toga, u samo 2 godine smanjio kriminal, prostitucija i problemi s drogom – za nevjerojatnih 80%!! Kako je čudesna snaga molitve! Jer po njoj Bog ozdravlja srca ljudi, a zdravi ljudi izgrađuju zdravo društvo! Koliko se takvim pristupom može uštedjeti novca – za korisne i potrebne stvari! Doista, molitva ima svemoguću snagu! Iskustvo Domovinskog rata Kad o tome pišem, ne mogu a da se ne sjetim iskustva s Domovinskim ratom! Ne, nismo taj rat dobili ni oružjem, ni pameću, ni ljudskom strategijom! Kad je čitav svijet bio protiv nas, kad nitko nije htio samostalnu i slobodnu hrvatsku državu, kad je JNA dolazila na nas s najjačim oružjem, a naši vojnici bili gotovo goloruki, bilo nam je jasno: ako nam Bog ne pritekne u pomoć, ako nam on ne pomogne, bit ćemo zgaženi i uništeni. Svi su toga bili svjesni. I zato se u našoj domovini počelo moliti. Gotovo se nikad u svojoj povijesti hrvatski narod nije tako digao na molitvu kao u tom trenutku. U mnogim se obiteljima tada molilo i zazivalo Boga da nas zaštiti i spasi. Momci na ratištima nosili su krunice oko vrata i molili kako su znali. Čak i oni koji nisu bili neki vjernici, imali su krunice oko vrata – i na taj su se način povezali s onima koji su molili i otvorili se Božjoj svemogućoj sili koja je bila oslobođena kroz molitve gotovo milijun ljudi! I Božja je sila potekla i učinila čudo! Mi smo pobijedili kad to nitko nije očekivao. Nikada u svojoj povijesti Hrvati nisu bili tako jedinstveni kao tada! Takav je naš Bog: svemoguć. A njemu dajemo prostora u svome životu – molitvom. Zašto smo stali s molitvom? No, tada smo učinili veliku grešku! Stali smo s molitvom. Dobili smo rat, pobijedili smo i mislili: to je to. To je ono što smo trebali i što smo željeli! Stali smo – i to onda kad je bilo najpotrebnije nastaviti moliti: kad je naša Hrvatska činila prve korake u demokraciji i pretvorbi vlasništva, kad se otvarala i povezivala sa svijetom i onda su se dogodile mnoge pronevjere i nepravde. I zato danas imamo krizu u vlasti, političku krizu, gospodarsku, kulturnu krizu i krizu morala! Sve što se poslije rata gradilo i obnavljalo, radilo se uz „mutne“ radnje, uz pranje novca, prevare i kriminal. Moral je na vrlo niskom stupnju. O, kako je naša domovina ranjena! Kako je naš narod silno potrebit obnove! A sve zato što smo stali s molitvom. Dogodilo nam se ono što bi se dogodilo Izraelu da je Mojsije stao s molitvom: izgubili bismo rat! Zato je važno ustrajati u molitvi – do kraja, dok ne pobijedimo. Izlaz iz krize postoji! I spas za našu zemlju! Ali on je u Bogu! Poziv na molitvu za našu Hrvatsku Službi Božjoj je molitva potrebna kao veličanstveni vrhunac. To je moguće samo ako su svećenik i puk uvjereni da svaka molitva koja dolazi od srca trenutno počinje mijenjati povijest. Većina prosnih molitava, koje čujemo u crkvi, tragičan su promašaj, skučene su, maglovite, neodlučne, bijedne. Ljudi malokad mole u uvjerenju da molitva mijenja svijet. Ovim člankom vas želim ohrabriti da vjerujete u moć molitve, da se svi zajedno podignemo i da svojim molitvama mijenjamo povijest naše Hrvatske, da je spasimo i zaštitimo od svega zla što vreba na nju i što je pokušava uništiti! Dragi brate i sestro, ako voliš Boga i ako voliš svoju zemlju, potičem te danas da se uključiš u ovu veliku akciju molitve za našu Hrvatsku. Podignite svoje obitelji na molitvu – navečer – bar 10 minuta (prijedlog: možete moliti Krunicu Majke Božje ili Krunicu Božanskog Milosrđa s nakanom za spas Hrvatske). Svećenici, podignite svoje župe na molitvu. Pozivam da se podignu sve molitvene zajednice u Hrvatskoj, da zbijemo redove i da molimo za našu zemlju! Pozivam sve kršćane da na svojim radnim mjestima potiču ljude dobre volje da mole za Hrvatsku. Trebamo okupiti što veći broj ljudi i kroz molitvu dati Bogu što veći prostor – da zahvati u naše društvo svojom nadnaravnom snagom i da ga oslobodi i iscijeli! Braćo,organizirajte se i okupite na molitvu. Vapite svim srcem za duhovnu i materijalnu obnovu naše zemlje. Molite: „Krvi Kristova, pobjednice zlih duhova, spasi Hrvatsku (10-20 puta). Ako uspijemo mobilizirati velik broj ljudi koji će moliti dovoljno dugo i ustrajno za svoju zemlju, naša će Hrvatska doživjeti predivnu obnovu! U to možemo biti sigurni! No jesmo li spremni platiti cijenu? Da budemo molitveni borci, a to znači suradnici Božji za spas naše domovine? Molim od sveg srca da budemo spremni! Beside His Heart was a wound from which Blood and water constantly dripped and divine rays shone forth. A cloud came down and covered the whole place. Immediately He said: “My children, the wound in my Sacred Heart pains me much because of the sins of the world, for the souls that will be lost forever and for my children who will suffer the Great Chastisement. Many of my children do not heed my warnings and revelations. They continue sinning and blaspheming my Holy Name day and night. Only very few people hear my messages and prepare for it. My children, pray for the unrepentant sinners, offer your daily sacrifices for them through the power of my Precious Blood. Maria Goretti è stata illuminata dalla fede, dalla speranza e dalla carità. Non ha fatto grandi gesta, ma è stata fedele al suo dovere quotidiano ed ella ci conferma ancora che quello che ha detto Gesù è sempre vero ed attuale: «Chi è fedele nelle piccole cose lo è anche nelle grandi» (Lc 16, 10). Così Maria nella prova più grande, aiutata dalla grazia soprannaturale, non ha voluto offendere il suo Redentore. Ella, con la sua famiglia, ha anche molto da insegnare a tutti, specialmente ai genitori, che hanno la responsabilità della salvezza delle anime dei loro figli. San Carlo Borromeo diceva: «Allevare, educare i figli, vuol dire condurli a Gesù». Tutti i genitori, come fecero i genitori di Maria, devono insegnare ai figli a pregare, ad aver e conservare il timor di Dio, ricordandosi che esso è un dono dello Spirito Santo e che come dice la S. Scrittura: «…è l’inizio della Sapienza» (Ecl 1, 16; Prov 9, 10). Tra l’altro nell’antifona della Comunione della Messa per la Santa (il 6 luglio), leggiamo: «Il timore del Signore è il suo tesoro» (Is 33,6). La madre affermò: «Che fosse brava lo sapevo, che sarebbe diventata Santa non me l’aspettavo… è vero che feci di tutto per darle un’educazione cristiana, ma non avrei mai creduto che fosse così eroica da dare la sua vita». Dio è sempre stato al primo posto nella vita di Maria ed Egli ha orientato tutta sua vita. Qualsiasi tentativo di raccontare la vita della Santa escludendo questo valore è una manipolazione che non tiene conto della verità e della storia. La fede di Maria si è manifestata nel quotidiano, nelle faccende concrete della vita, nell’accettazione del dolore e della gioia, nel servizio degli altri, nell’abbandono alla Provvidenza, nell’amore alla Vergine e alla Santa Eucaristia. Sulla tomba di Marietta avvennero guarigioni prodigiose, la Chiesa quindi prese in esame la documentazione presentata dal passionista P Mauro Liberati e il 31 maggio 1935 iniziò il Processo canonico ad Albano Laziale. Il 25 marzo 1945 Pio XII riconobbe l’autenticità del suo martirio. Il 27 aprile 1947 fu dichiarata beata. Ecco un estratto del discorso del Papa in quell’occasione: «Maria Goretti che dovette così giovane, dodicenne, lasciare questa terra, è un frutto maturo del focolare domestico, ove si prega, ove i figli sono educati nel timore di Dio, nell’ubbidienza verso i genitori, nell’amore della verità, nella verecondia, nella illibatezza; ove essi fin da fanciulli si abituano a contentarsi di poco, ad essere ben presto di aiuto nella fattoria… La nostra Beata fu una forte. Ella sapeva e comprendeva, e precisamente per ciò preferì morire. Non aveva ancora compiuto dodici anni, quando cadde martire… No, non è un’anima piccola e debole, è un’eroina, che sotto la stretta del ferro del suo uccisore, non pensa alla sua sofferenza, ma alla bruttezza del peccato, che risolutamente respinge…». Protokol za kućno liječenje Covida i preventivu Ovakvo je stanje zdravstvene zaštite što se tiče Korone: Nikakvo rano zbrinjavanje. Makar jedva stojiš na nogama, kažu ti idi se testirati u nos s PCR testom da potvrdiš da si stvarno bolestan a ne da ti se samo čini. Nemoj dolaziti u ambulantu, snižavaj temeperaturu s antipireticima, jer ništa drugo ti ne možemo prepisati. Kad poplaviš jer ne možeš udahnuti zrak, onda idi u Covid-bolnicu. To je prva bolest kod koje se izbjegava ikakvo rano zbrinjavanje. Prepušten si sam sebi. Oni smiju i znaju liječiti Koronu samo s respiratorom (“Dragi liječnici, vratite se na “Upute za liječenje Covid-a” od 24.04.2020: Ubijate nas po Uputi od 31.08.2020.“). 11.07.2021 Warum dem heiligen Benedikt das Hören so wichtig war Schlüssel zu echter Begegnung In unserem Alltag werden wir von Nachrichten, Klatsch und Tratsch nur so zugeschüttet. Manches kann man nicht mehr hören – und hört tatsächlich nicht mehr hin. Zugleich ist echtes Zu-Hören ist eine wahre Kunst. “Der Anfang des rechten Lebens ist das rechte Hören”, so hat es der antike griechische Schriftsteller Plutarch geschrieben. Das rechte Leben beginnt dort, wo man richtig zuhört, wo man den Anderen wahrnimmt. Da ist schon etwas Wahres dran! Denn wie oft erleben wir nicht das genaue Gegenteil: dass wir Menschen eben nicht richtig verstehen, weil wir ihnen nicht genau zuhören. Der heilige Benedikt Auch der heilige Benedikt von Nursia, dessen Festtag die Kirche am 11. Juli feiert, wusste um die besondere Bedeutung des Hörens. So beginnt er seine Ordensregel, nach der bis heute alle Angehörigen des Benediktinerordens leben, sehr programmatisch: “Höre, mein Sohn, auf die Weisung des Meisters, neige das Ohr deines Herzens, nimm den Zuspruch des gütigen Vaters willig an, und erfülle ihn durch die Tat.” Am Anfang der Regel, am Anfang eines jeden Lebens als glaubender Mensch, steht das Hören. Das geistliche Leben ist vom Hören geprägt: Hören ist die Voraussetzung, dass Menschen überhaupt miteinander Beziehungen eingehen, dass sie sich begegnen können. Auch für unseren Glauben ist das Hören von entscheidender Bedeutung: Schon im Alten Testament wird das Volk Israel zum Hören auf Gottes Wort aufgerufen. “Höre, und du wirst leben”, ruft Mose den Angehörigen des Volkes zu. Wer Gottes Wort hört und es in sich aufnimmt, in dem kann es Frucht bringen und wachsen. Hören und Zuhören In unserem Alltag hören wir so viele Dinge, so vieles dringt an unsere Ohren. Dabei ist es gar nicht so einfach, das herauszuhören, was wirklich wichtig und für unser Leben von Bedeutung ist. Das Hören muss man trainieren. Das gilt sicher für das Zuhören in menschlichen Beziehungen. “Der Anfang des rechten Lebens ist das rechte Hören”, schreibt schon Plutarch. Und auch der heilige Benedikt erkennt die Notwendigkeit, dass Gemeinschaften nur dann bestehen können, wenn man einander zuhört. Erst, wenn man weiß, was den anderen bewegt, was ihn umtreibt, kann man ihn auch verstehen. Erst dann kann man auf ihn zugehen und brüderlich und schwesterlich für ihn da sein. In der geistlichen Schriftlesung gibt es die Methode der “Ruminatio”, des Wiederkäuens. Dabei wiederholt man eine Schriftstelle immer und immer wieder, um bei jeder Wiederholung ein Stück tiefer in den Text einzutauchen. Ganz ähnlich ist die Übung des “Wiederhörens”, die wir in jedem Gottesdienst pflegen. Jede Eucharistiefeier ist strukturiert mit Texten und Gebeten, die immer wiederkehren. Das hat nichts damit zu tun, dass es den Autoren der Texte an Fantasie oder Kreativität gemangelt hat. Erst im ständigen Wiederhören und erneuten Wahrnehmen kann man die Größe eines Wortes wirklich erfassen. Wenn man bestimmte Texte immer neu hört, dann schleifen sie sich ein, man kann sie innerlich mitbeten und mitvollziehen. Aber mehr noch: Man wird fähig, neue Aspekte zu entdecken, die man zuvor vielleicht noch nicht wahrgenommen hat. Wiederholungen Sich einzulassen auf die uralten Texte, die uns im Gottesdienst begegnen, ist eine Entdeckungsreise. Es ist eine Hör-Übung, die sich lohnt. Denn das wirklich Wichtige findet sich doch nicht in den schnell dahergesagten Worten, die nur eine kurze Halbwertszeit haben. Das Große eröffnet sich erst langsam und mit viel Geduld. Der große und heilige Gott schenkt sich uns hin in seinem Wort: Aber wir müssen aufmerksam seine Spuren entdecken und uns neu für seine Gegenwart öffnen. Das ist die Aufgabe, vor die uns jede Begegnung mit dem Gotteswort stellt. Der heilige Benedikt wusste um diese Notwendigkeit des aufmerksamen Hörens. Jede Woche wird in den Benediktinerklöstern bis heute der gesamte Psalter mit seinen 150 Psalmen gebetet. Und drei Mal im Jahr wird die komplette Regel des heiligen Benedikt vorgelesen. Es sind Wiederholungen, die das benediktinische Leben prägen. Wiederholungen, die zum entdeckenden Hören einladen. Die zeigen, dass das rechte Leben erst da beginnen kann, wo man sich als Hörender vom Wort Gottes beschenken lässt, wo man sich öffnet für seine Größe und eintaucht in die heiligen Texte, die sich Menschen seit Jahrtausenden zum eigenen Gebet, Lob und Dank zu eigen gemacht haben. Vater This prayer/poem was written by Theodor Körner during the Napoleonic Wars and stayed very popular in Germany for over 200 years, up to the Second World War. It could be found in soldiers prayer books and was taught in school (as were all of Körners poems). Every child in germany would grew up with these lines in etched into the memory. It was only natural that is was used in propaganda, posters and postcards like the one shown above. The translation above is by Margarete Münsterberg, and was published in A Harvest of German Verse. in 1906. In my personal opinion this version is closest to the original german text. Karl Theodor Körner (23 September 1791 – 26 August 1813) was a German poet and soldier. After some time in Vienna, where he wrote some light comedies and other works for the Burgtheater, he became a soldier and joined the Lützow Free Corps in theGerman uprising against Napoleon. During these times, he displayed personal courage in many fights, and encouraged his comrades by fiery patriotic lyrics he composed, one of these being “Schwertlied” (Sword Song), composed during a lull in fighting only a few hours before his death and set to music by Franz Schubert. Fu quindi presa da un fuoco divoratore per l’infinito desiderio di preservare le anime da questo abisso.Nella sua opera mistica “Il castello interiore”, descrive il tormento che le anime del Purgatorio devono subire a causa dell’ardente desiderio che hanno di quella beata visione di Dio che non è loro ancora concessa. In questo tempo, scrive Don Stanzione parlando della grande santa spagnola, Dio “dona all’anima una così viva conoscenza di ciò che egli è veramente, che il tormento raggiunge un grado da spingerla a urlare. Ora l’anima non può fare altro, pur essendo abituata a sopportare con pazienza i suoi tremendi dolori, poiché non sente questo dolore nel corpo, ma nel suo intimo più profondo”.“Le pene delle povere anime del Purgatorio sono proprio di questo genere”, scriveva Santa Teresa, “poiché essendo liberate dal corpo soffrono assai di più di quanto non si possa soffrire mentre si è vivi sulla terra”. “L’anima viene consumata da una sete ardente del possesso di Dio eppure non può raggiungere questa ‘acqua’”.SANTA MARIA MADDALENA DE’ PAZZI. (1556-1607)Carmelitana, era continuamente in preda a faticose estasi. Fra quanto visto sul Purgatorio nelle sue esperienze e visioni e apparizioni, si ricorda in particolare la morte del fratello Alamanno.Maria Maddalena, ricorda don Stanzione, “era in ricreazione con alcune consorelle nel giardino del monastero. Improvvisamente fu rapita in estasi e prese a gridare: ‘Sì, io sono pronta a venire dappertutto!’. Egli le chiese un determinato numero di Messe e sante Comunioni”.La colpirono tremendamente il fatto di vedere anche religiosi in Purgatorio e che suo fratello sarebbe dovuto rimanere in Purgatorio finché lei avesse offerto a Dio centosette sante Comunioni per lui.SANTA MARGHERITA MARIA ALACOQUE. (1647-1690)“Mentre ero davanti al Santissimo il giorno del Corpus Domini – si legge nei suoi scritti -, d’improvviso mi si presentò davanti una persona tutta avvolta dalle fiamme, i cui ardori mi penetrarono così fortemente che mi sembrava bruciassi con lei. Lo stato pietoso, in cui mi fece vedere che si trovava in Purgatorio, mi fece versare molte lacrime. Gomez | New World of Faith Sep 01, 2021 • 3 Min Read Archbishop José Gomez celebrates Sunday Mass at the chapel of the Annunciation at Mission San Gabriel July 12, 2020. (Victor Alemán/Angelus News) Next week we begin a Jubilee Year to mark the 250th anniversary of Mission San Gabriel Arcángel, the first church founded in what is now the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, on September 8, 1771. In the Church’s tradition, a jubilee is far more than an anniversary celebration. A jubilee gives glory and praise to God and, in the words of Jesus and the prophets, a jubilee is “a year of the Lord’s favor.” We will begin this holy year in worship and prayer, offering homage and thanks for our Lord’s incarnation and the gift of redemption that he brings to us. I will lead a prayer service at the Mission on the evening of September 8, the nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The following evening, we begin 40 hours of Eucharistic adoration at 22 pilgrimage parishes designated throughout the archdiocese. Our adoration will conclude with the solemn opening of the Holy Door and the Jubilee Year’s inaugural Mass, which I will offer on September 11 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. (For details, see our website, forwardinmission.com) Every Jubilee is a season of mercy and many graces, as we renew our belief that all time and history belong to the Creator, and that in his Providence he has a plan and purpose for every person and every nation under heaven. With the founding of San Gabriel Mission by St. Junípero Serra and the first peoples of this land, God began a new chapter in salvation history, planting the seeds of his kingdom in southern California, seeds that have borne fruit in a beautiful local Church that embraces peoples from every race, language, and nationality. This jubilee also reminds us that America has a Christian “soul,” that the freedoms and values that our country upholds are rooted in the Gospel proclaimed by St. Junípero and countless missionaries who offered their lives to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to this land. That mission of bringing Jesus Christ to America continues in your life and mine. That is the deeper spiritual meaning of this jubilee — the rediscovery that to be a Catholic means to be a missionary. In the biblical tradition, the jubilee was marked by specific practices — canceling debts, freeing slaves, returning property to its original owners, letting the land “rest” from farming. With our jubilee, too, we are also inviting people to adopt new habits of devotion — to pray together with family members and neighbors; to study the Gospels in the spirit of prayerful reading or lectio divina; and to perform acts of charity and works of mercy. The point of these practices is, again, to realize that our time belongs to God. We are not just “here” in this world. Each one of us was put here by the living God for a purpose. We are here to make a difference for Jesus for his kingdom. We have a duty to sanctify our time or “redeem the time,” as the apostles used to say. As I reflect on this jubilee, I have been thinking a lot about a Latin expression, “Nunc coepi!” It means, “Now I begin!” and it is a concept that we find often in the writings and lives of the saints, from Venerable Bruno Lanteri to the Servant of God Dorothy Day. One of my favorite saints, the holy priest St. Josemaría Escrivá, said: “ ‘Nunc coepi!’ — ‘Now I begin!’ This is the cry of a soul in love which, at every moment, whether it has been faithful or lacking in generosity, renews its desire to serve — to love! — our God with a wholehearted loyalty.” That is my hope for this Jubilee Year! For me, this Jubilee is providential. It comes at a time when our Church and our society are facing so many challenges, from the pandemic, from changes and disruptions in our society. And I feel that God is calling us in this jubilee to make a new beginning, to get back to the basics of living and proclaiming our faith in Jesus Christ. My prayer is that everyone of us in the Church — bishops, priests, deacons, religious and consecrated, seminarians, and lay people will use this jubilee year to say: “Now I begin again to love Jesus Christ! Now I begin again to serve him with all my heart, to speak of him, and to share his love in everything I do!” Pray for me and know that I am praying for you. And as we begin this Jubilee Year, let us entrust ourselves to the Blessed Virgin Mary and let us ask her to intercede and make this a season of grace for all of us, that we may begin again to know the great gift of our Catholic faith; the beauty of living as children of God and walking in his presence. The Marvelous Story of Our Lady of Charity of Cobre, Patroness of Cuba July 29, 2021 | Edwin Benson The Marvelous Story of Our Lady of Charity of Cobre, Patroness of Cuba The Marvelous Story of Our Lady of Charity of Cobre, Patroness of Cuba Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, has many titles. Some titles describe her relationship with God, such as Mother of God. Many titles refer to her surpassing virtues, such as Seat of Wisdom. The most reassuring titles speak of her relationship to humanity, such as Refuge of Sinners or Mother of Good Counsel. However, many titles are connected to places by which she endears herself to nations. This article deals with one such title by telling the marvelous story of Our Lady of Charity of Cobre, Patroness of Cuba. Like many such titles, this devotion is connected to a miraculous event. It begins with several ordinary people engaged in their daily work, which in this case was the gathering of salt. One day in 1612, two young Indian men—Rodrigo and Juan de Hoyos—and one child—ten-year-old Juan Moreno—went into the Bay of Nipe in a small boat to collect salt. The exact process by which they gathered it is uncertain, but the salt was used to preserve meat. Miraculous Deliverance They were returning to the port town of Santiago del Prado (today called El Cobre) when a storm arose. Their lives were in danger. Juan Moreno was wearing a medal with an image of the Blessed Mother, to whom all three prayed. Just as suddenly as the storm arose, the waters calmed. Free Cuba NOW! Petition to the President The three were relieved that Our Lady had saved their lives. As they returned, they saw and then retrieved a white bundle floating on a piece of wood. The bundle turned out it be a sixteen-inch baked clay statue of the Blessed Mother holding Our Infant Redeemer in her left arm and carrying a gold cross in her right. Mary’s feet rested on a thin crescent moon, which in turn is carried on clouds borne by angels. Our Lord’s right hand is raised in blessing, and He holds a globe in His left. The piece of wood bore the words, “Yo soy la Virgen de la Caridad,” which translates to “I am the Virgin of Charity.” The three young men were astonished to discover that the statue and her white cloth robes were dry. Given the violence of the storm only a few minutes earlier, this seemed impossible. The delivery from the storm and the discovery of the dry statue made the three sense the miraculous nature of the Virgin of Charity. They took the statue ashore and told their story throughout the village. Eventually, the figure was housed in the parish church in El Cobre. However, one day, the statue disappeared. The villagers frantically searched for it but to no avail. One night, the searchers saw a light shining from a nearby mountain. Like the three wise men following the Star of Bethlehem, they went to the light and found the statue. On that site, the local men constructed a hermitage church to serve as the statue’s place of veneration under the Spanish invocation of Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Cobre. Prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success About Our TimesLearn All About the Prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success About Our Times The story spread, and the chapel became a place of pilgrimage for the poor and enslaved workers in nearby mines. Over the next seventy years, devotion to Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Cobre grew as devotees reported answered favors and miraculous cures. In 1688, the Archdiocese of Santiago, which includes El Cobre, initiated an inquiry to determine the statue’s miraculous reputation. Signs of Increasing Devotion The reputation of Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Cobre increased in May of 1801 when Spanish King Carlos IV issued a declaration freeing all slaves who labored in the copper mines of El Cobre. From this action, the practice of bringing copper objects to Her shrine and having them blessed near the image arose. On May 10, 1916, Pope Benedict XV declared Our Lady of Charity to be the Patroness of Cuba. Twenty years later, a ceremony that culminated with the solemn coronation of the statue took place at a Eucharistic Congress in Santiago. When large numbers of Cuban exiles came to Miami in the wake of the Castro Revolution, many wanted to bring a historical copy of the statue with them. However, the government refused to let “historical relics” leave Cuba. Eventually, one was smuggled out of Havana by the Italian Embassy. The Embassy passed it on to the Panamanian diplomatic office. The Panamanians turned it over to the Cubans in Miami. On September 8, 1960—the feast day of Our Lady of Charity—thousands of Cuban exiles converged at Miami Stadium to welcome her. In 1977, Bishop Eduardo Tomás Boza Masvidal, Auxiliary of San Cristobal de la Habana, blessed and dedicated an Oratory in her honor in the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. He was a Jesuit, and he eventually became a cardinal. He was named a Doctor of the Church. He was also a significant figure in the Church’s Counter-Reformation. You can use this novena to seek intercession from this holy priest in your life! About St. Robert Bellarmine St. Robert Bellarmine was born in 1452. He had nine siblings. His parents were members of the nobility but were very poor. His mother was a relative of the Pope, and she was a very pious woman. During his childhood and adolescence, Robert learned Italian and Latin. He wrote several poems in both languages, as well as a hymn that is still included in the Breviary. In 1560, Robert entered the Jesuit religious order. He studied Greek, theology, and philosophy. After he was ordained a priest, he became well-known for his preaching. He began to teach at the University of Leuven, the first Jesuit to do so. After teaching for seven years at the university, he began to suffer from poor health. In 1576, he traveled to Italy. Pope Gregory XIII commissioned him to lecture on polemical theology at the Roman College. Robert remained in this position until 1589, when Pope Sixtus V sent him with a party of men on a diplomatic mission to France. When Pope Sixtus V died in 1590, Robert was considered by worldly leaders to be unsuitable as the next Pope because he was so holy and concerned solely with the good of the Church. After Pope Clement VIII was elected, he said that Robert was the most learned man in the Church. He appointed Robert rector of the Roman College, examiner of bishops, cardinal, and a cardinal inquisitor. In 1602, Robert became archbishop of Capua. In this role, he worked to enforce the reforms of the Council of Trent. He also defended the Church against the anticlerical sentiment that was becoming prevalent, and against the political attacks of King James I of England. During Robert’s lifetime, there were several heresies gaining prominence in the Church. He worked to defend true Church teaching against these heresies, writing an exhaustive work of apologetics against these false teachings. Robert was also the teacher and spiritual father of St. Aloysius Gonzaga. Outliving Aloysius Gonzaga, Robert eventually promoted Aloysius Gonzaga’s cause for beatification. Additionally, Robert helped St. Francis de Sales gain formal approval for the forming of the Visitation religious order. Robert was also connected to the controversy between the Church and Galileo over Galileo’s teaching that the earth revolves around the sun. Robert prudentially opposed severe action against Galileo on the Church’s part. Throughout Robert Bellarmine’s life, he wrote many significant writings on both instruction and devotion. Tijekom studija, koji je trajao 15 godina, došao je do izvanrednog znanstvenog otkrića: “Odrastao sam u obitelji vjernika i nikada ne sumnjam u moć molitve. Međutim, kao znanstvenik, to sam morao dokazati u eksperimentima. Poznato je da nakon molitve osoba osjeća mir i duhovnu snagu. Ali što se događa, međutim, na fizičkoj razini, osobito s našom krvlju? Kada sam usporedio njegovu krvnu sliku prije i poslije molitve, utvrdio sam je da je razina jednog od indikatora fagocitoze 6 puta manji nego prije eksperimenta! To me uvjerilo da smo na dobrom putu “, rekao je dr. Mihail Lazorik. Svi daljnji pokusi pokazali su istu stvar: nakon molitve, razina infekcije u organizmu se smanjila. Posebno kada je u pitanju akutna faza bolesti, promjene se pojavljuju u svim pokazateljima, upalni procesi se smiruju i postupno nestaju. U svakom eksperimentu očitavale su se značajne promjene u vrijednostima pojedinih parametara krvnih stanica, što ukazuje da je molitva ključni faktor koji izaziva promjenu broja, morfološke i funkcionalne osobine krvnih stanica, što se konstatira i na statističkom razini. To je dokaz da molitva doista utječe na organizam na staničnoj i subcelularnoj razini. “Molitva nije samo riječ. Proizvodi oscilacije određene frekvencije. Dugo je dokazano da molitva mijenja strukturu vode. Čovjek je skoro 80% vode i molitva ga mijenja na staničnoj razini čak i ako čita molitvu u sebi. A kada je izgovara glasno, čuju se zvučne vibracije koje dodatno djeluju na ljudsko tijelo i izazivaju promjene u krvnoj slici, smanjuju upalu, imaju ljekovito djelovanje ” objašnjava dr Mihail Lazorik. Doktor biologije P.P. Garjajev i doktor tehničkih nauka G.T. Tertišnij pomoću uređaja kojeg su sami konstruirali su zabilježili: da kletva uzrokuje mutageno djelovanje slično radioaktivnom zračenju od 1000 rengena. Također, dr. Garjajev je u suradnji s akademikom Govoroevim sproveo eksperiment s tekstom molitve “Oče naš”. Tekst molitve insprintan je na laserskom printeru i skeniran biološkim laserom. And thence it comes that, pursuing this idol, they forget the true God, and so come to plunge themselves into an abyss of evil, and a perpetual destitution of all true good; whereas, the holy Royal Prophet declares that all who in the first place seek God shall not encounter any evil, but shall abound in all good. Inquirentes Dominum non deficient omni bono (Ps. 33:11). This is amply verified in those who, before applying to their business, manage first to assist at holy Mass, as the adventure which is told of certain traders of Gubbio well illustrates. They had gone to a public fair held in the town of Cisternino, and having made a clearance of their wares, two of them began to speak of going, and fixed to start the next day at dawn, so as to arrive by evening in their own neighborhood. But the third would not consent to start then, and protested that, next day being Sunday, he could never think of commencing a journey without having first heard holy Mass; that then, after a little food, they might take their departure more to their satisfaction, and that, should they not succeed in getting to Gubbio that evening, there was no want of comfortable inns on the road. His companions did not yield to this wise and salutary counsel, but, bent on arriving at home next night, they answered that Almighty God would have compassion on them if they lost Mass for once. So on Sunday morning before dawn, without ever entering church, they took their way on horseback toward home. They arrived near the river Corfuone. By the violent rain which had fallen during the night it was now excessively swollen, and the current beating strongly against the wooden bridge had somewhat shaken and weakened it. They advanced upon it with their horses, and no sooner had they reached the middle than a still further rise and furious rush of the flood broke down and swept away the whole structure. The two unhappy traders were, of course, plunged with their horses into the river and drowned, losing at once their money, their goods, their lives. At the sound of the crash, and sight of the havoc, the peasants ran to the spot, and contrived with hooks to draw the corpses out, which they then left stretched out on the bank, in order that, if possible, they might be recognized and obtain burial. Soon after, the third trader, who had been detained by his wish to satisfy the precept of attending Mass, and who had then taken to the road with joyful alacrity, came up to the river and beheld the two bodies on the bank. Drawing up to observe them, he instantly recognized his two companions, and heard from the bystanders all the miserable catastrophe with the utmost agitation of spirit. Then he lifted his hands to Heaven, returning thanks to the Most High, Who had so mercifully preserved him; and he blessed a thousand times the hour in which he assisted at the Holy Sacrifice, clearly recognizing the source of his safety. When again at home, he announced the sad intelligence, got the relations to procure proper interment for the departed, and stirred up among all a lively desire of daily attendance at holy Mass. O accursed avarice!—let me give vent to what I feel— accursed passion, that cuttest off the heart from God, and takest away, as it were, from us the very faculty of free will, so far as regards the power of attending to the great business of eternal salvation! That the avaricious may enter into themselves, I will illustrate my meaning by an example from Holy Scripture. Samson, you are aware, was bound in vain even with the sinews of oxen, and with fresh ropes never before used. At last he informed his treacherous wife that the secret of his strength lay hid in the locks of his hair; and so no sooner were they cut off than he lost all his wonderful strength, fell into the power of the Philistines, was made blind by them, and condemned to work a mill. Now, what was the chief and prime error of Samson? Was it, perhaps, in allowing himself to be so securely bound? That was not his error. The evil lay in telling the secret of his strength, and thus allowing the loss of his mysterious locks, which once gone, he was no longer himself. Now, a man engaged in trade doubtless permits himself to be bound by a thousand ties of traffic, of accounts, of exchange, and so on. Does the deadly peril of avarice consist in all this? No, not in all this. The danger lies in cutting off the locks of hair. Let me explain. Suppose a man in trade to have never so great a pressure of business, but hearing betimes every morning the bells that call to Mass, says to himself, “Business, wait a little; have patience; let us get our Mass safely settled”: such a man is Samson bound but not shorn—bound by the thousand cords of business, but not shorn of the secret source of strength. Another is also caught in a multitude of cords: workmen to pay, accounts to clear, letters to write, correspondents with whom to negotiate: one man expects an answer, another his money. Alas, what a labyrinth of bonds! No matter, Sunday at last comes round, or the festival of some saint, his patron perhaps; he breaks loose from all, and goes with devotion to hear some Masses and offer up his prayers. This man also is a Samson bound but not shorn; for, amid all his affairs, he never loses sight of the great business of eternal salvation. But attend to me now: if you are bound by a thousand ties of interest, without vigor to snap them through, if you fail to come forth at the proper time, and cease firmly to frequent the Sacraments and the Holy Sacrifice, then woe to you; then are you both bound and shorn. In this case, though your gains be just, yet at such a cost they are sinful; there is within you a coarse and horrid avarice, which will treat you as Samson was treated, until, at last, as with Samson, the roof overhead shall fall in upon you. Then quae parasti cujus erunt?— “whose shall those things be which thou hast provided?” (Luke 12:20.) But you are thinking that the avaricious will never listen except to a tune in their own key. Well, then, be it so. Get rich, gather up, make profit. What is the surest way? I will show you: daily hear holy Mass with thorough devotion. It is plainly seen in the case of two artisans whom I could point out. Both pursue the same trade; one is burdened with a family: wife, children, grandchildren; the other is alone with his wife. The first has brought up his family in great comfort and even style, and all his transactions turn out wonderfully. Customers at his shop, and sales despatched. So he has gone on, till he finds himself putting by every year a good round sum, to serve in time for marriage-portions for his daughters. The other, who is without children, at one time got little employment, was half famished, and was, in short, a ruined man. One day he said confidentially to his neighbor, “How is it you do? In your home there rains down every blessing of God; while I, poor wretch, cannot hold up my head, and all sorts of calamities light on my house.” “I will tell you,” said his neighbor; “tomorrow morning I shall be with you, and will point out the place from which I draw so much.” Next morning he took him to church to hear Mass, and then led him back to his workshop; and so two or three different times, till at last the poor man said, “If nothing else is wanted than to go to church to hear Mass, I know the way well enough, without putting you to inconvenience.” “Just so,” said the other; “hear holy Mass, my friend, with devotion, every day, and you will see a change on the face of your fortune.” And, in fact, so it was. Der Deutsche, katholische Pfarrer Scheier, der in den USA tätig ist, erlitt am 18. Oktober 1985 eine schweren Verkehrsunfall, der normaler Weise zu seinem ewigen Tod geführt hätte. Nur der Fürsprache der Muttergottes verdankte er, dass er nicht in die Hölle kam, sondern nochmals eine letzte Chance erhielt, sein Priesterleben zu ändern. Pfarrer Scheier: „Meine Aufgabe ist es, allen Menschen und besonders den Priestern zu sagen, dass die Hölle existiert und dass jeder in die Hölle kommen kann! Ich habe meine Lektion gelernt! Aber ER musste mir das Genick brechen und mir mit der ewigen Hölle drohen, um meine Aufmerksamkeit auf IHN zu lenken. Ich würde niemals mehr zu meinen vorherigen Leben zurückkehren – niemals mehr!“ «Die Priester, die heute so leben, wie dies bei den meisten von ihnen der Fall ist, sind die größten Feinde, welche die Kirche Gottes überhaupt aufzuweisen hat. Die Verderbtheit der Geistlichkeit ist die Hauptursache des Verfalls der Kirche.» Hl. Vinzenz von Paul (1581-1660) Eines Tages nach meiner Rückkehr feierte ich wie gewohnt eine Werktagsmesse. Das Evangelium des Tages – eine Perikope, die ich schon viele Male las und hörte – handelte von jemandem, der einen Feigenbaum in seinem Weinberg hatte. Als er beim Inspizieren keine Früchte am Baume vorfand, sprach er zum Weingärtner: «Siehe, drei Jahre sind es schon, seit ich komme und Frucht an diesem Feigenbaum suche, jedoch keine finde. Hau ihn um! Wozu nimmt er noch den Boden weg?» Wir lesen weiter im Evangelium: «Der aber wendete ein und sagte zu ihm: Herr, lass ihn dieses Jahr noch! Ich will erst noch rings um ihn aufgraben und Dünger einlegen; vielleicht bringt er dann Frucht. Wenn aber nicht, dann magst du ihn umhauen!» [Lk 13:6-9] Die Seite mit diesem Evangelium, das ich gelesen hatte, wurde immer größer und heller und bewegte sich schließlich vom Lektionar zu mir hin. Ich dachte, dass etwas Außergewöhnliches geschehen war. Das Besondere an diesem Evangelium war, dass es wie ein Gespräch anmutete, dem ich zuhören konnte. Ich beendete die heilige Messe, so gut ich konnte, ging ins Pfarrhaus zurück und setzte mich in meinen Sessel. Sehr schnell erinnerte ich mich an das Gespräch, das kurz nach meinem Unfall stattgefunden hatte: Ich befand mich vor dem Richterstuhl des allmächtigen Gottes und Seines Sohnes Jesus Christus. Der Herr ging sehr schnell durch mein ganzes Leben. Ganz besonders klagte Er mich schwerer Todsünden an, für die ich keine Zeit mehr zum Beichten oder zum Bereuen hatte. Ich dachte, ich könnte mir hierfür noch Zeit nehmen. Offensichtlich hatte Er andere Gedanken.. Als Er seine Anklage beendet hatte, sprach Er: «Das Urteil lautet, Hölle auf ewig!» Dies war keine Überraschung. Ich sagte: «Ja, Herr, ich weiß. Das ist, was ich verdiene!» Wenn man mit der ewigen Wahrheit spricht, gibt es keine Entschuldigungen oder Ausreden. Alles, was Er sagte, erkannte ich als richtig und wahr. Es gab überhaupt nichts zu entschuldigen. Er sagte mir bloß, dass ich haben könne, was ich wollte. Meine Wahl war die ewige Verdammnis. Er respektierte also nur meine Wahl, die ich selbst getroffen hatte. Kurz darauf, vernahm ich eine weibliche Stimme. Ich sah die Person nicht, sondern hörte sie nur. Die Stimme sagte: «Mein Sohn, willst Du nicht sein Leben und seine unsterbliche Seele retten?» Daraufhin sagte Jesus Christus: «Mutter, er war während zwölf Jahren ein Priester nur für sich selbst und nicht für mich – das reicht mir. Lass ihn die Strafe haben, die er verdient hat!» Daraufhin sagte die weibliche Stimme: «Aber wie wäre es, mein Sohn, wenn wir ihm besondere Gnaden geben und dann sehen, ob er Früchte trägt? Bringt er keine Früchte hervor, dann geschehe Dein Wille.» Es folgte eine kurze Pause.. Dann hörte ich IHN sagen: «Mutter, er gehört Dir!» Jesus Hinterließ ihr die Menschliche Rasse am Fuße des Kreuzes , bei den Worten : Frau siehe deinen Sohn. Seit diesem Zeitpunkt hält sie uns für ihre Kinder. WIR HABEN EINE ANWÄLTIN IM HIMMEL! – Eine Anwältin deren : Gott Vater , Gott Sohn und der Heilige Geist – Nicht NEIN sagen können ! Es ist für sie unmöglich, Maria NEIN zu sagen. Ist es nicht diese Person ,die wir die ganze Zeit auf unserer seite haben wollen ? Die Muttergottes ist jetzt meine Mutter. Ich gehöre ganz ihr, und zwar im natürlichen wie auch im übernatürlichen Sinne. Ich weiß nicht, wie ich heute ohne sie leben könnte. Früher hegte ich keine besondere Verehrung zu ihr. Jetzt aber verehre ich sie ganz besonders. Mein Leben als Priester hat sich dramatisch verändert. Jetzt weiß ich, dass es ein Leben lang braucht, ja wirklich ein ganzes Leben, um ein guter Priester zu werden, so wie Gott ihn haben will. Das schafft man nicht in einem Monat, in einem Jahr oder in fünf Jahren. Unser Herr hat gesagt, dass wir vollkommen sein sollen, wie sein himmlischer Vater vollkommen ist. Und das gilt auch für die Priester. Ich habe seither erfahren, dass meine Mission ist, «wieder zurückzukommen» und den Leuten zu sagen, dass erstens die Hölle existiert, sie existiert wirklich, und zweitens, dass auch die Priester zu ewiger Hölle verurteilt werden können. – Viele Leute fragen sich, wie denn ein Priester die Hölle verdienen kann? Pfarrer Scheier: Für uns gelten die gleichen Gebote wie für jeden anderen auch. Es gibt die Zehn Gebote Gottes. Wenn eines oder mehrere dieser Gebote übertreten werden, so müssen wir zur Beichte gehen, denn wir haben gesündigt. Wir haben womöglich schwer gegen den Herrn gesündigt. Auch Priester können sich schwer versündigen. Der weiße Streifen, den ein Priester als Kragen an seinem Hals trägt, garantiert ihm keinesfalls den Himmel. Wir müssen an uns ebenso hart arbeiten und manchmal noch härter als der durchschnittliche Katholik. Das kommt daher, weil wir für mehr verantwortlich sind, denn wir geben den Gläubigen die Ratschläge, wie man zu leben hat. Wir vertreten ihnen gegenüber Seine Kirche. Wir sprechen über das, was Jesus sagte und lehrte. Folglich sind wir für sehr viel mehr verantwortlich. Die Leute glauben das nicht, aber wir tragen wirklich eine sehr große Verantwortung. Die Gläubigen sind der Meinung, dass wir garantiert gerettet sind. Das stimmt nicht, überhaupt nicht! Im Namen der “Ökumene”, sind in den Kirchen viele entsetzliche Dinge geschehen! Da werden Statuen und Kniebänke aus den Kirchen entfernt, der Tabernakel wird zur Seite oder sogar in einen anderen Raum gestellt. Und der Priester sitzt in einer Art Präsidentenstuhl und wird zum Mittelpunkt in der Liturgie – in der Mitte des Altarraumes. In der Mitte ist der Priester, nicht mehr Jesus. Jesus wird nicht mehr gesehen. Nennen wir einen anderen Punkt. Man hat kein Kruzifix mehr, nur noch ein nacktes Kreuz ohne Corpus! Das Kruzifix muss weg! Warum? – Weil das unsere “protestantischen Brüder” beleidigen würde! Wenn sie das Kruzifix sehen, sagen sie: «Warum habt ihr einen Korpus auf dem Kreuz? Jesus ist doch auferstanden! Jetzt ist es doch das bloße Kreuz!» Das ist wahr. Aber Jesus daran zu sehen stellt eine andere Botschaft dar. Wir sehen den Leib von Jesus Christus am Kreuz; wir sehen, wie viel Er für uns gelitten hat. Aber das gilt heute nicht mehr. Vigilien und Kreuzwege sind nicht mehr “modern” und werden deshalb nicht mehr abgehalten. Die Gebärden der inneren Ehrbezeugung der Gläubigen und des Priesters – das Knien und die Kniebeuge – gehören der Vergangenheit an.. Theaterstühle stehen beim Tabernakel … Eine Verneigung zum Allerheiligsten hin gilt heute als ausreichend, die Kniebeuge ist veraltet. Das Stehen bei der Wandlung, gilt in manchen Pfarreien als modern. – Alle diese Dinge sind einfach nur schlimm! Ein weiterer Punkt ist die Unterstützung von Priestern durch andere Priester. In vielen Diözesen gibt es das heute nicht mehr. In den 50er Jahren hörte man von den Priestern, dass das Priestertum die erhabenste Gemeinschaft in dieser Welt sei. Das wird heute nicht mehr gesagt! Dafür gibt es jetzt ein Spiel, das die Priester spielen. Es gibt zwei Arten, es zu spielen. Die eine ist: Wenn der Priester eine gute Arbeit leistet, dann sagen die anderen Priester: «Was will er beweisen? Was bezweckt er damit?» Die andere Spielart ist folgende: Wenn er im Kleinen oder Großen scheitert, dann sagt man: «Seht, ich sagte ja, dass es ihm nicht gelingen wird.» Es ist eine traurige Tatsache, dass die Kinder heute – das heißt schon seit den 60er und 70er Jahren – nicht mehr im katholischen Glauben erzogen werden. Die Lehrbücher für Kinder, die nicht in private oder konfessionsgebundene Schulen gehen, weisen extreme Mängel hinsichtlich der Lehre der Kirche auf, insbesondere auf dem Gebiete der Sittlichkeitslehre. In den 70er Jahren habe ich einmal an unserer Schule einen katechetischen Lehrtext eingehend geprüft. Auf der einen Seite im Buch war eine Abbildung von einem lächelnden Jesus zu finden, auf der anderen Seite stand in fetter Schrift: «Jesus liebt Dich». Das Kind blättert weiter … In dieser Art werden heute unsere Kinder unterrichtet. Die Kinder erfahren weder die Gebote Gottes noch die Dogmen oder die Lehre der Kirche, noch wie sie eine gute Beichte ablegen können! Zweier Dinge sind sicher: der Tod und die Steuer. Alles andere wird kommen und gehen, aber diese zwei Dinge sind sicher. Und noch eines ist sicher für uns alle, für jeden von uns: Eines Tages müssen wir wie Pfarrer Scheier vor Gott stehen, und ihr könnt nicht damit rechnen, dass die Muttergottes dann für euch Fürbitte einlegen wird. Ich hoffe, sie wird es tun. Ich hoffe, sie wird es für alle von uns tun. Aber ich glaube, das Erlebnis von Pfarrer Scheier war äußerst ungewöhnlich und hat einen tieferen Sinn. Ich denke, dass sein Zeugnis von heute Abend für sich spricht. Ein weiterer Zweck dieses Erlebnisses: Wir alle, die Kirche, die Priester, die Ordensleute sowie die Laien sollen an die Umkehr erinnert werden! Seien wir katholisch! Den jävla prästen! – Pastor Stephen Scheier upplever sin personliga domstol! Den 18 oktober 1985 drabbades den tyske katolske prästen Scheier, som är verksam i USA, av en allvarlig trafikolycka som normalt skulle ha lett till hans eviga död. Endast förbönen från Guds moder var skyldig honom att inte dra åt helvete, men en sista chans att ändra sitt prästämne. Pastor Scheier: ′′ Mitt jobb är att berätta för alla människor, särskilt prästerna, att det finns helvetet och att vem som helst kan dra åt helvete! Jag lärde mig min läxa! Men HAN var tvungen att bryta nacken av mig och hota mig med evigt helvete för att uppmärksamma HONOM. Jag skulle aldrig gå tillbaka till mina tidigare liv – aldrig igen!” ′′ Prästerna som lever idag som de flesta av dem gör är de största fiender som Guds kyrka någonsin har visat. Prästerskapets fördärv är den främsta orsaken till kyrkans förfall.” St. St. St. St. Vincent av Paul (1581-1660) En dag efter min återkomst firade jag en affärsdagsmässa som vanligt. Dagens evangelium – en perikopter jag läst och hört många gånger – handlade om någon som hade ett fikonträd i sin vingård. När han inte hittade någon frukt på trädet när han inspekterade sa han till vingården: ′′ Se, det är tre år sedan jag letade efter frukt på detta fikonträd, men jag hittar inga. Slå ut honom! Varför tar han golvet bort?” Vi fortsätter läsa i evangeliet: ′′ Men han vände sig in och sade till honom: ′′ Herre, låt honom i år jag först gräva upp runt honom och sätta i gödsel; kanske producerar det frukt. Men om du inte gör det, så kan du knocka honom!” [Lk 13:6-9] Sidan med detta evangelium jag hade läst blev större och ljusare och flyttade till slut från läxan till mig. Jag trodde att något extraordinärt hade hänt. Det speciella med detta evangelium var att det verkade som ett samtal jag kunde lyssna på. Avslutade den heliga massan så gott jag kunde, gick tillbaka till prästgården och satte mig i min fåtölj. Väldigt snabbt kom jag ihåg samtalet som skedde strax efter min olycka: Jag stod framför domarstolen i den Allsmäktige Gud och hans son Jesus Kristus. Herren gick igenom hela mitt liv väldigt snabbt. Särskilt Han åtalade mig för allvarliga dödssynder, för vilka jag inte hade tid att erkänna eller beklaga. Tänkte att jag fortfarande kunde ta mig tid för det här. Uppenbarligen hade han olika tankar.. När han var klar med sin laddning sa han: ′′ Domen är, helvete för evigt!” Det här var ingen överraskning. Jag sa: ′′ Ja herre, jag vet. Det här är vad jag förtjänar!” När du talar till den eviga sanningen finns inga ursäkter eller ursäkter. Allt han sa har jag känt igen som sant och sant. Det fanns inget att be om ursäkt alls. Han sa bara till mig att jag kunde få vad jag ville. Mitt val var evig fördömelse. Så han respekterade bara det val jag gjorde själv. Kort därefter hörde jag en kvinnlig röst. Jag såg inte personen, jag hörde dem bara. Rösten sa: ′′ Min son, vill du inte rädda hans liv och hans odödliga själ?” Jesus Kristus sa då: ′′ Mor, han var präst i tolv år bara för sig själv och inte för mig – det räcker för mig. Låt honom få det straff han förtjänar!” Till följd av detta sa den kvinnliga rösten: ′′ Men vad sägs, min son, om vi ger honom speciell nåd och sedan ser om han bär frukt? Om han inte producerar frukt, så utför då din vilja.” En kort paus följde.. Då hörde jag HONOM säga: ′′ Mamma, han tillhör dig!” Jesus lämnade henne mänskligheten vid foten av korset, med orden: kvinna se din son. Sedan dess tror hon att vi är hennes barn. VI HAR EN UPPMÄRKSAMHET I HIMLEN! – En advokat vars: Gud Fader, Gud Son och den helige Ande – inte kan säga NEJ! Det är omöjligt för henne att säga Maria NEJ. Är det inte den personen vi vill ha på vår sida hela tiden? Guds moder är nu min mamma. Jag tillhör henne, i både naturlig och övernaturlig mening. Jag vet inte hur jag skulle kunna leva utan henne idag. Jag brukade inte ha någon speciell dyrkan till henne. Men nu älskar jag henne väldigt mycket. Mitt liv som präst har förändrats dramatiskt. Nu vet jag att det tar en livstid, ja verkligen ett helt liv att bli en bra präst precis som Gud vill att han ska vara. Du kan inte göra det på en månad, på ett år eller på fem år. Vår Herre har sagt att vara perfekt eftersom hans himmelske Fader är perfekt. Och det gäller prästerna också. Jag har lärt mig sedan dess att mitt uppdrag är att ′′ komma tillbaka ′′ och berätta för folk att för det första helvetet existerar, det finns verkligen, och för det andra att prästerna också kan dömas till evigt helvete. – Många undrar hur en präst kan tjäna helvete? Pastor Scheier: Vi har samma budord som någon annan. Det finns de tio budorden från Gud. Om ett eller flera av dessa budord överträffas, måste vi gå till bekännelse, för vi har syndat. Vi kan ha syndat hårt mot Herren. Även präster är svåra att synda. Det vita strecket som en präst bär som en krage på halsen garanterar honom inte himlen. Vi måste jobba på oss själva som hårt och ibland ännu hårdare än den genomsnittliga katolska. Detta är för att vi ansvarar för mer, för att vi ger de trofasta råden om hur vi ska leva. Vi representerar hans kyrka gentemot dem. Vi pratar om vad Jesus sa och lärde ut. Följaktligen ansvarar vi för mycket mer. Folk tror inte på detta men vi har verkligen ett väldigt stort ansvar. Troende tror att vi garanterat blir räddade. Det är inte sant, inte alls! I ′′ ekumenismens namn “, har många fasansfulla saker hänt i kyrkorna! Det finns statyer och knäbänkar borttagna från kyrkorna, tabernaklet läggs åt sidan eller till och med i ett annat rum. Och prästen sitter i en slags presidentstol och blir liturgins centrum – i centrum av altarummet. I mitten är prästen, inte Jesus längre. Jesus syns inte längre. Låt oss nämna en annan punkt. Du har inget mer krucifix, bara ett bart kors utan corpus! Krucifixet måste bort! Varför är det så? – För det skulle förolämpa våra ′′ protestantiska bröder När de ser krucifixet säger de: ′′ Varför har du en kropp på korset? Jesus har stigit ju! Nu är det bara korset!” Detta är sant. Men att se Jesus är ett annat budskap. Vi ser Jesu Kristi kropp på korset; vi ser hur mycket han har lidit för oss. Men det stämmer inte längre idag. Vigilia och vägskäl är inte längre ′′ moderna ′′ och stoppas därför. Tecknen på den inre hedern i trofasta och präst-knäböjande och knäböj-är i det förflutna.. Teatrala stolar står vid Tabernaklet… En båge för det Heligaste anses räcka idag, huk är föråldrad. Att stå i förvandlingen anses modern i vissa församlingar. – Alla dessa saker är bara dåliga! En annan punkt är stöd för präster av andra präster. Många stift finns inte längre. På 50-talet hördes det från prästerna att prästämbetet var det mest sublima samhället i världen. Det är inte sagt mer idag! Det finns nu ett spel prästerna spelar för detta. Det finns två sätt att spela på. Den ena är: När prästen gör ett bra jobb säger de andra prästerna: ′′ Vad försöker han bevisa? Vad är syftet med detta?” Det andra spelet är detta: om han misslyckas i litet eller stort, så säger de: ′′ Titta, jag sa att han inte skulle lyckas.” Det är ett sorgligt faktum att barnen inte längre uppfostras i den katolska tron – alltså sedan 60-och 70-talet. Barnens läroböcker som inte går till privata eller konfessionella skolor har extrema brister i kyrkans undervisning, särskilt inom moralens område. På 70-talet undersökte jag en kateketisk undervisningstext på vår skola. Å ena sidan i boken fanns en illustration av en leende Jesus, å andra sidan var det i fet skrift: ′′ Jesus älskar dig “. Barnet fortsätter att flippa… Så här lärs våra barn ut idag. Barnen kommer inte att uppleva Guds budord, dogmer, eller kyrkans lära, eller hur man gör en god bekännelse! Två saker är säkra: död och skatt. Allt annat kommer att komma och gå, men dessa två saker är säkra. Och en sak till är säker för oss alla, för var och en av oss: en dag kommer vi att stå inför Gud som pastor Scheier, och du kan inte förvänta dig att Guds moder kommer att ingripa för dig. Jag hoppas att hon gör det. Jag hoppas att hon gör det för oss alla. Men jag tror att erfarenheten av pastor Scheier var extremt ovanlig och har en djupare betydelse. Jag tror att hans vittnesbörd från ikväll talar för sig själv. Ett annat syfte med denna upplevelse är att påminna oss alla, kyrkan, prästerna, religösa människor och lekmän! But at the age of fifteen, she providentially met (Blessed) Father Ludovico da Casoria, who taught her to make devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus the one aim of her life. Under his guidance, she became a Third Order Franciscan. He advised her to use her social contacts to serve Christ as a “fisher of souls.” At the age of twenty, Caterina entered the Congregation of Perpetual Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament, but her poor health soon forced her to leave. Nonetheless, she remained deeply devoted to the Eucharist, spending hour upon hour in adoration before the tabernacle. Having learned from her confessor about the French Sacred Heart apostolate known as the Apostleship of Prayer, Caterina discovered in this association what she needed for her spiritual life. It led her to found a new congregation, the Servants of the Sacred Heart, in fulfillment of her aspiration “to revive love for Jesus Christ in hearts, in families, and in society.” She died on December 28, 1894. On April 26, 2009, at Saint Peter’s Square, Vatican City she was Canonized by Pope Benedict XVI. Let us pray. Lord, increase in us your gift of mercy and forgiveness. The Holy Innocents are the special patrons of small children, who can please the Christ Child by being obedient and helpful to parents, and by sharing their toys and loving their siblings and playmates. The feast of the Holy Innocents is an excellent time for parents to inaugurate the custom of blessing their children. From the Ritual comes the form which we use on solemn occasions, such as First Communion. But parents can simply sign a cross on the child’s forehead with the right thumb dipped in holy water and say: May God bless you, and may He be the Guardian of your heart and mind—the Father, + Son, and Holy Spirit. 29. PROSINCA – Sveti TOMA BECKET, biskup i mucenik (1118.-1170.) Toma Becket kojega se danas spominjemo, prije nego je postao nadbiskup i primas Engleske, bijase kancelar engleskog kralja Henrika II., poslusan dvorjanin, prijatelj raskosi i pristasa kraljevskog apsolutizma. Rodio se 1118.g. u Londonu kao sin trgovca. Nakon odlicne izobrazbe i studija u Parizu, Bologni i u Auxerreu postao je arhidjakonom Canterburya. U starosti od 37 godina, kralj Henrik II., imenovao ga je kancelarom i osobnim savjetnikom. Izmedju kralja i Tome nastalo je pravo prijateljstvo. Becket je podupirao vladara u svim pothvatima i imao je znatan utjecaj na njegove politicke odluke. Kralj Henrik II., progurao je imenovanje kancelara Tome za nadbiskupa Centerburya. Ocekivao je da ce tako imati jaci utjecaj u crkvenim poslovima. Toma Becket je to i naslucivao, pa se nije narocito obradovao tom imenovanju.Postavsi nadbiskupom god. 1162., pretvorio se u strogog asketu i vatrenog borca za prava Crkve protiv kraljevih presizanja. Jedna od glavnih znacajki Tomina karaktera bijase, veoma razvijen osjecaj duznosti. Stoga je smatrao da kao primas Engleske ima zastupati interese Crkve, a ne vise interese kralja, kao sto je cinio dok je bio njegov kancelar. Na neki nacin je bio prorekao svoju buducnost, kada je svome dotadasnjem prijatelju Henriku II., rekao: “Postavsi nadbiskup Canterbury-ja, izgubit cu prijateljstvo Vaseg velicanstva.” Ubrzo je postalo i jasno zasto. Vrsio je tu duznost svega nekoliko godina, kada se morao ostro suprostaviti kralju, koji je u sebi koncentrirao svu moc, te si cak pridrzao i onu….utjecati na savjest svojih podanika. Tominom suprostavljanju kralj nije mogao oprostiti, te je poceo gajiti prema njemu nepomirljivu mrznju. Kralj Henrik II., osudi Tomu kao veleizdajnika i svrgne ga s nadbiskupske stolice. Toma pobjegne u Francusku Papi Aleksandru III. Nakon 6 godina izgnanstva Toma se kao papin delegat vrati u Englesku, a kralj se bojao izopacenja, pa mu ne ucini nikakva zla. A i sam je Papa savjetovao Tomu da se formalno izmiri s bivsim prijateljem. No, nije imao nikakvih iluzija, znajuci kako ce se Henrik II., prije ili kasnije, vratiti na staro. Stovise, okupljene je vjernike pozdravio rijecima: “Vratio sam se kako bih mogao umrijeti tu uz vas”. U iducih nekoliko dana raspustio je sve biskupe, koji su bili sklopili savez s kraljem i javno prozvao sve njegove despotske postupke. Kralj je razbjesnjen, neoprezno ovako razmisljao na glas: “Ma, tko li ce me osloboditi od toga urotnickoga svecenika?” “Netko”, kome se nadbiskup vec bio zamjerio, vec je iduceg dana poslao cetvoricu ljudi da ga ubiju. Iako su Tomu obavjestili o uroti, nije se sklonio od pogibelji, vec je rekao: “Radi straha od smrti ne smijemo iz vida izgubiti pravdu.” I docekao je svoje ubojice pred oltarom katedrale, odjeven u svecano sveto ruho. Prepustio se njihovim udarcima bez otpora. Kada je pod njima pao na tlo, prosaputao je: “Prihvacam smrt u cast Imena Isusova i Crkve.” Bilo je to 29. prosinca 1170.god. Njegova je junacka smrt okrunila zivot teskih borbi, kako bi pred engleskim vladarem Henrikom II., posvjedocio svoju vjernost Kristu i Rimokatolickoj Crkvi. Narod je Tomu odmah nakon smrti poceo castiti kao sveca, a papa Aleksandar III., sluzbeno ga kanonizira vec 1173.godine. Poslusati vlastitu savjest, ili pak ono sto nam namecu sile moci, dvojba je stara koliko i sam svijet. Sveti Toma Becket razrijesio ju je nadasve izvanredno i junacki. Da bi ublazio bijes naroda, sam kralj je hodocastio na grob Tome Becketa i ondje se podvrgnuo kazni javnog bicevanja god. 1174., a to je bila zadovoljstina za sva zla koja je ucinio protiv Crkve i Tome. The soldiers who killed the Holy infants in Bethlehem thought they were killing Christ or someone who could be Jesus– To the killers, the children were indistinguishable from Christ. We are to bear the light of Christ in our lives to such an extent that Jesus could call us “ the light of the world “ (Mt 5:14). Zdravlje & ljepota OPASNI LIJEKOVI: Oni imaju zabrinjavajuće nuspojave od kojih zaziru i liječnici 25. studenoga 2018. alternativa za vas, opasni lijekovi Facebook Twitter Linkedin tablete Unatoč golemom napretku medicine, rak, tumori, depresija, autoimune bolesti… i lijekovi uzimaju sve veći broj ljudskih života. I dok mnogi oboljeli spas od bolesti traže u lijekovima, kada oni postignu kontraučinak i nastupe nuspojave, liječnici sliježu ramenima, a farmaceutska industrija samo zadovoljno trlja ruke. Da su lijekovi štetni, znaju i sami liječnici jer mnoge od njih ni sami ne bi uzimali. No i dalje ih propisuju. Lijekovi poput statina, Prozaca, kortikosteroida, varfarina… mogu imati opasne nuspojave. Tu su i štetna cjepiva, koja sadrže toksine i teške metale, a kojih je, nažalost, sve veći broj, te antibiotici, „zahvaljujući“ kojima se danas sve češće suočavamo i sa superbakterijama. I dok neki lijekovi uzrokuju mučninu i glavobolju, drugi imaju i puno opasnije posljedice, poput pretjeranog krvarenja, oštećenja jetre, srca i mozga, a dugotrajnom upotrebom mogu dovesti i do srčanog i moždanog udara te smrtnog ishoda. Dodatnu opasnost predstavlja i uzimanje lijekova na svoju ruku, kombiniranje više različitih lijekova (o čijim interakcijama znamo malo ili ne znamo ništa), te uzimanje medikamenata zajedno s alkoholom, drogama i sl. Velik broj ljudi sve češće poseže za analgeticima, odnosno lijekovima protiv bolova, koji dugoročno imaju jako štetne posljedice. Od takvih lijekova mnogi i umiru, a među njima su i brojne slavne osobe, poput Princea i Elvisa Presleya, piše Alternativa za Vas. tablete, tabletomanija Opasni lijekovi Zašto mnogi liječnici rutinski propisuju medikamente za koje znaju da ne djeluju? Također, zapitajmo se zašto liječnici propisuju nove lijekove kada, prema studijama, čak 85% njih ima vrlo male ili nikakve pozitivne učinke na oboljele osobe? I ne samo da nisu učinkoviti, nego mogu biti i opasni i štetni. Neki od lijekova koji se propisuju, a koji mogu biti opasni za ljudsko zdravlje su: antidepresivi, statini (za kolesterol), metformin (za dijabetes), antipsihotici, aspirin, lijekovi za krvni tlak, ibuprofen (za bolove), sotalol (za aritmiju srca), Nexium i Prilosec (za žgaravicu i refluks), Advair (za astmu), pilule za spavanje, Visine Original (kapi za oči), opioidni lijekovi, viagra (za potenciju), prednizon i kortizon (kortikosteroidi). Lijekovi koje mnogi liječnici ne bi uzimali U nastavku doznajte koji su to štetni lijekovi koje ni sami liječnici ne bi uzimali te koje su njihove nuspojave. 1. Statini: Ovi lijekovi za kolesterol imaju teške nuspojave. Mogu dovesti do velikih bolova u mišićima, slabosti, depresije, pojačanog ispadanja kose i impotencije, a što je najvažnije, ne pružaju zaštitu od tzv. lošeg kolesterola niti čuvaju zdravlje srca. Umjesto da uzimate ove medikamente, vježbajte, budite aktivni i zdravije se hranite. Osim toga, visoke razine kolesterola, pokazalo se, čak produljuju vaš životni vijek, stoga zašto biste ih snižavali štetnim i opasnim statinima? 2. Ibuprofen: Kad je riječ, primjerice, o reumatskim oboljenjima, mnogi liječnici sami ne bi uzimali ibuprofen na dnevnoj bazi. Ibuprofen povećava rizik od srčanog udara za 11 posto, a voltaren za čak 23 posto. Ibuprofen usto ima brojne nuspojave, poput čira na želucu, povišenog krvnog tlaka, vrtoglavice, sindroma iritabilnog crijeva i sl. Umjesto ibuprofena i drugih štetnih antireumatskih lijekova, birajte protuupalnu hranu, đumbir i kurkumu (u svježem ili suhom obliku), kupke s gorkom soli te umjereno izlaganje suncu radi dobivanja vitamina D. 3. Pilule za spavanje: Svi oni koji redovito uzimaju pilule za spavanje znaju koliko se od njih loše osjećaju, odnosno da su sutradan omamljeni i zbunjeni, a primjećuju i da im je pamćenje sve slabije. Zabluda u koju mnogi vjeruju jest ta da tablete za spavanje mogu pružiti duboki i kvalitetni san. To ni u kom slučaju nije točno, upravo suprotno. Naime, nakon dugotrajnog uzimanja ovih lijekova vaš san postaje sve lošiji te se nesanica pogoršava. No mnogi i unatoč tome nastavljaju uzimati ove pilule jer postaju ovisni o njima. 4. Lijekovi za prostatu + test PSA: Neki liječnici koji su upućeni u stanje poznato kao benigno povećanje prostate sami ne bi uzimali lijekove za prostatu, a čak ne bi pristali ni na test poznat kao PSA. Riječ je o krvnom testu koji otkriva razine prostata specifičnog antigena. Postoji mišljenje da tumor potiče organizam na stvaranje više PSA, no pokazalo se da to nije uvijek tako. Neki muškarci koji imaju rak prostate nemaju povišeni PSA, dok, s druge strane, ima i onih kojima su povišene razine PSA, a ne boluju od raka prostate. Ovaj test, dakle, ne može utvrditi radi li se doista o opasnom raku prostate ili njezinu benignom povećanju. Kod mnogih muškaraca koji imaju benigno povećanje prostate to se stanje toliko sporo razvija da nakon više godina zapravo umru od nečeg drugog, a ne od samog raka prostate. Također, neki od lijekova za prostatu imaju zaista neugodne nuspojave, poput erektilne disfunkcije te čak povećavaju rizik od vrlo agresivnog oblika raka prostate. lijekovi, tablete, pilule 5. Antidepresivi: Iako je poznato da antidepresivi nemaju ništa bolji učinak od običnog placeba, oni su najčešće propisivani lijekovi danas. Osim što stvaraju ovisnost, oni „otupljuju“ čovjeka te ga sprečavaju da se poveže s vlastitim emocijama. Antidepresivi također povećavaju rizik od ubojstva i samoubojstva. Naime, neke osobe koje su uzimale Prozac u vrlo kratkom roku potpuno su izgubile kontrolu nad sobom te su počinile zločine (iako nikad dotad nisu bile agresivne). Jeste li znali da je većina studenata koji su sudjelovali u teškim pucnjavama i ranjavanjima u američkim školama bila na lijekovima kao što su Prozac, Zoloft i Ritalin? 6. Prednizon i kortizon (kortikosteroidi): Ovi su lijekovi osobito problematični i opasni ako ih dugo koristite. Nijedan ih liječnik ne bi uzimao dulje od dva tjedna. Neke od njihovih nuspojava su visoki krvni tlak, niski kalij, slabost mišića, osteoporoza, frakture i lomovi kostiju te unutarnje krvarenje. 7. Metotreksat (kemoterapeutik): Teško je reći da je ovo „terapeutik“ jer je riječ o tvari koja podjednako uništava i tumorske i zdrave stanice vašeg organizma. Metotreksat se također koristi zajedno s prednizonom u liječenju reumatskih oboljenja, iako je riječ o opasnoj kombinaciji. Neke od nuspojava ovog „lijeka“ su trovanje jetre i bubrega, depresija koštane srži, kongenitalne anomalije, znatno slabljenje imunosnog sustava te unutarnje krvarenje. 8. Varfarin: Riječ je o lijeku za razrjeđivanje krvi koji se propisuje protiv srčanog i moždanog udara. No nuspojave ovog lijeka (koji je zapravo otrov za štakore!) jako su ozbiljne. Naime, zabilježeno je više slučajeva u kojima su ljudi koji su uzimali ovaj lijek nasmrt iskrvarili nakon što su se porezali ili ozlijedili. Ovaj „lijek“ zapravo slabi krvne žile i stanice. Što vi birate: nuspojave lijekova ili promjenu životnog stila i prehrane? Kad je riječ o vašem zdravlju, zaštitite sami sebe jer nitko drugi to neće učiniti za vas. Ako vam liječnik propiše neki lijek, raspitajte se o lijeku i doznajte koje su njegove moguće nuspojave. Nakon toga odlučite je li za vas bolje uzimati lijekove koji dolaze u paketu s brojnim nuspojavama ili unaprijediti zdravlje promjenom životnog stila. Razgovarajte s liječnikom i o nekim drugim (prirodnim) mogućnostima liječenja. Imate pravo reći „ne“ kad su u pitanju farmaceutski lijekovi jer radi se o vašem zdravlju, o vašem životu. Her command, “Do whatever he tells you” is for us too. The wine stewards listen and water is turned into wine. When we pray the Rosary she intercedes with her Son on our behalf. I imagine the awe of the people watching this man proclaim the importance of repenting of our sins as he healed people of their paralysis or leprosy. He preached about love and forgiveness. We too need healing and repentance. I pray for the ability to be humbly and genuinely sorry for my sins against others and against the God who loves me and made me. Fourth Luminous Mystery – The Transfiguration DESIRE FOR HOLINESS Peter, James and John accompany Jesus up Mount Tabor where Jesus is transformed before them in glorious light and Moses and Elijah appear. Peter desires to build tents for them so they may stay. God again proclaims pleasure in Jesus, his beloved Son and tells them to listen to him. I imagine the disciples seeing Jesus with the prophets of the past and hearing God’s voice. They received a beautiful gift from God and comforting words from Jesus to not be afraid. Fifth Luminous Mystery – Institution of the Eucharist EUCHARISTIC ADORATION Jesus gives us the greatest of gifts in his presence in the Eucharist—body, blood, soul and divinity. I imagine the disciples hearing these words of the New Covenant and the directive to do this in his remembrance. We reflect on this at every Mass as we genuflect before the tabernacle. We are also invited to visit Jesus in adoration. It takes great faith to believe in the Real Presence. I pray for the grace to have that faith, to seek him in adoration and surrender myself humbly to his service. Say one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be to the Father.
